Scoring Chances Wasn’t the Problem for Edmonton
The Oilers led the league in the regular season with 33.6 Shots on Goal per game and continued that trend into the playoffs where they outshot the Golden Knights by 22 SOG in the series. However, Adin Hill came into Game 3 early and was stellar ever since, making 32 saves in Game 5 and 38 saves in Game 6. While point production wasn’t the problem in Round 1, Evander Kane and Leon Draisaitl were not able to level up their scoring rates as Hill rose to the occasion.
