- The Avs beat the Flyers in Philadelphia as they both fight for top 5 spots in the power rankings.
- Logan O’Connor scored a hat trick, his first of the year, Mikko Rantanen scored twice and Nathan MacKinnon had 2 goal and 2 assists (on an 11 game point streak), giving the final empty net goal to O’ Connor for his hat trick.
- The Toronto Maple Leafs almost came back against the Canucks in Vancouver but J.T. Miller scored his 21st of the season and Elias Pettersson scored his 25th to seal their victory.
- Conor Garland scored twice and had an assist for his first multigoal game of the year. Quinn Hughes had 3 assists and leads all defensemen with 56 points.
- Thatcher Demko stopped 42 of 46 shots on goal, and the Leafs had 58 unblocked shots, to Vancouver’s 21 shots on goal and 36 unblocked shots.
- The Boston Bruins scored 9 goals on 36 shots on goal to beat the Canadiens, led by Danton Heinen’s hat trick that puts his total goals at 8 and his Points/60 at 1.95. The Bruins had 6 other goal scorers contribute to the win.
- The Oilers beat the Flames in Calgary for their 13th win in a row, a NHL record for a Canadien team.
- The Oilers had no players with multiple points, and have improved their play from the entire lineup. MacKenzie Weegar scored his 10th this year and Ryan McLeod scored his 9th. McLeod has increased his shot attempts per 60 by 0.27 in the last 5 games.
